I'm not good at asking for help but my new record won't happen unless I raise $25k so here goes!

My name is Sarah Jane Nelson and I'm an independent singer songwriter in Nashville. I've made 6 full length albums and many music videos to share my songs. As a single mom this has not been easy, but I've always somehow figured it out. I get emails several times a week from people saying my songs have touched their lives, and that's why I continue to do what I do.

As I'm working on my 7th album full of songs that mean a lot to me, I'm coming to a point where I am forced to ask for your help. I literally can't finish the project without you! It's by far, my most bold songwriting yet as it takes on issues like low self esteem, white washed history, religious hypocrisy, losing a parent, anxiety disorder, step parenting, and moving forward after ending relationships. Gosh, it sounds like a real drag, but I swear these songs are about resilience and conquering our challenges and fears.

I know this record will be lifechanging for the people who need to hear the messages, but in order to change those lives, I have to raise money to finish the record!

Here's the budget for this project:

• $16,500- Tracking, Musicians, Studio Production $1500/song x 11 songs
• $1,650 - Mastering - $150/song x 11 songs
• $1,850 - Photos, Artwork, Graphics - This is an important part of the process with imagery that will create a look for the whole project
• $3000 - Two music videos ($1500/music video) Videos are the best way to share the message of my songs. Usually it costs more than this, but I direct and produce my own videos. I just have to hire someone to shoot it, pay the actors/extras, location fees, and editor.
• $2000 - Cost for ordering physical CDs and Vinyl - This will be my first time ordering vinyl and I'm so excited!

It's not cheap but I have a dream to finally print my first vinyl for this album.
