Nelson co-starred on the CBS prime-time drama, The District, starring Craig T. Nelson. As con artist/murderer, Lori King, Nelson was tracked throughout the episode which ended in a dramatic fight scene on the rainy streets of Washington D.C.
 
COUNTRY MUSIC IN NASHVILLE ___________________________________________________________________

Nelson traveled to Nashville to meet with publishers and record companies in the country music industry. With a great response to her demo, she was invited to perform at the BMI New Artists Showcase at The Sutler and at the open mic night at The Bluebird Cafe. Through successful meetings with publishers, Nelson was also given the opportunity to co-write with some of Nashville's top songwriters. She continues to write songs and plans to make another "country music trip" very soon. Visit Recordings to hear clips from the demo songs.
 
"EL PASO BLUE" IN NEW YORK CITY _______________________________________________________________

Sarah Jane and her husband, René Millán starred in a production of “El Paso Blue” by Octavio Solis at the Summer Play Festival on Theatre Row in New York City.

The show was directed by Juliette Carillo and the cast included: Jason Manuel Olazabal, Zabryna Guevara, and Robert Beitzel. The original blues score was performed by Michael “Hawkeye” Herman.
 
SARAH JANE IS PREGNANT! ______________________________________________________________________

Nelson and her husband, Rene Millan are expecting their first child in the summer 2005.

 
SCREENWRITING ______________________________________________________________________________

Nelson began studying Screenwriting at UCLA Extension with instructor Ron Wilkerson.
 
ARBY'S COMMERCIAL __________________________________________________________________________

Nelson starred in a national commercial for the "Chicken Cheddar Jack Wrap" at Arby's, and here's a little inside scoop: she was 2 months pregnant at the time!
