Nelson performed in Radiant Baby at The Public Theatre in New York City. Directed by George C. Wolfe
(pictured at left with Sarah Jane) and choreographed by hip-hop queen, Fatima Robinson, the show
chronicles the life of artist, Keith Haring. The cast included Billy Porter, Julie Cruz, Aaron Lohr,
Angela Robinson, Keong Sim, Kate Jennings Grant, and Daniel Richard as Keith Haring.
BRAD ROSS SUMMER CONCERTS _________________________
Sarah Jane was featured in four “Brad Ross and Friends” concerts over the summer 2003. Organized by
composer Brad Ross (Little by Little), the concerts took place in various outdoor spaces in Midtown
Manhattan including Rockefeller Plaza, Worldwide Plaza, and Grace Plaza. Sarah Jane performed a
variety of material including a new arrangement of the sultry Rosemary Clooney classic, Come On A My House.
DREAM A LITTLE DREAM - THE MAMA'S AND PAPA'S MUSICAL __________________________________________
Sarah Jane played the role of “Michelle Philips” in the new off-Broadway show, Dream a Little Dream -
The Mama’s and Papa’s Musical starring “Papa Denny” Doherty (pictured at top right with Sarah Jane).
Directed by Randall Myler (Love Janis, It Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues), this night of great music
was performed at the historic Village Theatre in the heart of Greenwich Village where “The Mama’s and Papa’s”
began their career.
BROADWAY IN BRYANT PARK CONCERT ____________________________________________________________
On July 17, 2003, Sarah Jane performed with the cast of Dream A Little Dream at
the Broadway in the Park Concert at Bryant Park in New York City.
PANTENE VOICE OVER __________________________________________________________________________
Sarah Jane recorded the television commercial voice over for:
“Pantene’s New Deep Conditioning Treatment”
And yes, it does “Undo 3 months of damage in 3 minutes!”

THE BALLAD OF LITTLE PINKS ____________________________________________________________________
Sarah Jane starred as “Your Highness,” a sassy New York City chorus girl, in a reading of Alan
Menken’s new musical The Ballad of Little Pinks at the National Alliance for Musical Theatre-
Festival of New Musicals on September 21-22 at the Houseman and Douglas Fairbanks Theatre in NYC.
The show is based on the Damon Runyon short story, Little Pinks, with the book adaptation written by
Connie Grappo who also directed the piece.
IT AIN'T NOTHIN' BUT THE BLUES __________________________________________________________________
Sarah Jane performed in "It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues" at the Prince Music theater in Philadelphia.
The production, directed by Doug Wager and musically directed by Michael Keck and Bill Jolly, was extended
twice and received rave REVIEWS.
The cast included: Doug Eskew, Jeffery Thompson, Scott Wakefield, Barbara Mills, Joliet Harris, & Georgie Bonds.
